Hey Juhani, WELCOME to the site!! I am part Finnish on my Dad's side of the family, so I'm always quick to welcome a fellow suomalainen!
Do you have any pictures of the Camaro or any of the other cars that you can post?

Kiitos paljon! Cherish your roots. It's valuable thing. Finnish people always find another Fin where ever around globe. And we are small country, 5.5M people.
Tell your dad : Terveisiä Suomesta, täällä on jo pirun kylmä mutta sisulla selvitään.
About cars:
Mine next, bought it from South Carolina last year, roller:
Got engine this week, brand new abandon comp series gen 3 V10 from SRT, michigan
'Stang on table, you know florida car:
My old ride:
360 + V6-71, 12% overdrive, 4L60E/w TCU, 4 link. almost all mods home made.
'70 SS Camaro: made 736hp and 1063Nm (600 something in Ft) torque only 0.5 bar(7 psi) can handle 1.5 bars = 21psi
Stroked Merlin, all new, every bolt and nut. Billet crank, billet H-rods, Dart Pro-1 heads, 8-71, 2x 850 blower-series, biffy th400, 12 bolt. A stock street car, no cage just made the powertrain and extras, lot of oneoff pieces.
More pics: http://kuvablogi.com/blog/15042/8/ Site in in Finnish but you get the pictures

LOL, my Dad speaks little Finnish, mostly good swear words!!! I translated what you said with Google Translate, so it's cold there?
SISU, is a very important Finnish word I learned a long time ago, it's what makes us Finn's truely Finnish!!
How do you deal with the logistics of getting cars and parts from the U.S.?? That has to be extra expensive on top of the high cost of the parts alone!!
PM me your email address

Jep, it's cold (-20c/-4f) here allready, getting little warmer (-10c/+14f) next week.
Everybody knows 3S from Finland: Sisu, Sauna ja Sibelius.
And: Perkele! and SISU (have you ever taste sisu pastille? One thing I have to bring to my friend and relatives everytime I came to States...)
About my cars/parts: I got coupple
finnish guys/companys in US how handles my locistics, either airfreight or like usually shipping in conteiner.
Shipping costs are not so bad and € / $ is favorable
to me but customs dutys this end are killing me.
Pm send.

Howdy Juhani!
Welcome!
Sounds like you have the car building talent down to a fine art. If you get a chance, post some pictures of your Rides.
Here are a couple of mine.
1) 1965 Buick Riviera, "Roadhouse Riv". (In Paint Currently)
2) 1964 Grand Sport Corvette "No Name Yet". (Rest of the Mid-America Parts just got here so should be moving forward in December 2010)
3) 1962 TR3B Survivor. Wife's car "no name yet"
4) '69 Camaro Profile, "She Devil", aka. Betty. Waiting on parts so it can move forward)
5) '69 Camaro, Interior picture w. Recaro Seats and Roll Cage
6) '69 Camaro, Another view of the Interior. Looking forward to making progress.
Hang in and stay active so we can follow your projects.
Take care,
Ty O'Neal
Frisco, Texas
BTW: Your English is a hell of a lot better than my Finnish.

Juhani:
Oops!
Should have read further down first.
Your cars look like a lot of fun. Do you have a number of friends that like Pro-Touring Cars/Muscle Cars?
Any Clubs you belong to?
Yes, my favorite Fin, Jean Sibelius. Great Composer! Favorite piece is, "Finlandia". Great history about this song during the early Russian influence.
Your country held together well through that hard time. I am sure you are proud.
Part of it is in your "National Anthem", I think, right? (Or at least a version of it?)
Anyway, glad your here.
Take care,
Ty O'Neal
