Default Please I need Ford 9" help!!!

I am making a high performance street 69 Camaro and I do not understand all the different options, such as ARB and True Trac, for a Ford 9". What would be the best for my situation if I'm running 1000 hp?

A Detroit Locker with 35 spline axles will hang on to that kind of power.

Is there another option that doesn't lock both wheels together, but can withstand high horsepower? Is this what most people use on high performance street cars?

A ARB is a air locker , used on off road rock crawlers . it will not take 1000 hp . I had them in my last crawler with a ls1 supercharged , broke the ARB .
I also agree a 35 spline with a detroit . A tru trac posi will work good But you probally will power thru it .

What kind of rear tires are you going to run? If you not going to put anything sticky out back you can run a Tru-Trac with 31 spline. But if you planning to put a Drag radial or stickier I agree with the boys above.
