Default DSE 1970 camaro subframe..

Will my L99, 6L80 from 2011 camaro fitt in to my DSE 1970 subframe to my camaro with out any modifying?? I know i have to do somthing with the tunel..

All the LSx motors mount in the same configuration. So if you have an DSE subframe designed to hold an LSx motor, then yes it should fit. The only thing you'll have to be careful with is the oil pan. I have no idea what the oil pan looks like on that engine and if it will fit the subframe. However, swapping out to the correct oil pan is simple. The next potential interference issue are the accessories. Again, I have no idea what the factory configuration is for that engine. You can change the accessories to after market pieces such as March, Billet Specialties, Vintage Air, etc or factory brackets from another car.

It will prob. fit better w/an 97-02 fbody pan.The rear sump is a little shallower.And a little shorter.Check w/Dan at DSE Mon. morning.

I have been out in the garage trying to get the engine to fitt but with no luck, i think i have to get me a new oil pan....
About the wiring, is there anybody out ther that have done cars with 6l80
or sombody that can tell me wats the best to use??
