I would like to hear some opinions on spray on sound deadener versus the mat type; does the spray on such as lizard skin really work? Is there a brand as good as dynomat? Any help appreciated, Thanks, Garry.
I'm actually thinking about using spray on and dynomat. Not sure if thats possible or can be done, but regardless thats what I'm thinking about doing to try and keep the drone down in the interior of the car.
I'm brushing on E-dead from elemental designs and, then I'm going to make another layer of insulation with some stuff from lowes. The stuff from lowes is kind of like bubble wrap with foil on both sides. I read on some other forums that a bunch of vette guys have done this to combat sound and heat in the crew compartment.
I am doing a combination of above. I am using U-Pol Raptor liner under the car. The inside of the floor has recieved POR-15, followed by a DupliColor roll on bed liner, that will be covered by DynaMat, carpet padding and then finally carpet. I am also using DynaMat on the inside of the doors, toe boards, package tray and on the roof before installing the headliner. Up higher on the inside of the firewall I am using the stuff mention above from Lowes because its super flexible and easy to install over the curves and around stuff. plus its cheap.
