Default Automatic transmission ideas

Hey guys. I'm in the process of putting my drive train together on my 69 Camaro and I was trying to figure out which way to go. Since converting to a T56 isn't in the cards this year, I was looking at the 700R4, 2004R or 4l60E.

Which is the most logical to go with regarding cost and conversion man-hours?

I am running a 454 that will put out about 425 hp to the crank, and the car currently has a TH400.

Thanks.

Probably not the most cost effective, but pretty cool setup

A 4L60e (or 4L80e) would probably cost the most because it sounds like you'd need the computer to run it.

I would suggest 4L80E using a controller, but buying a used one and installing a shift kit or having it rebuilt. This is by far stronger than the other options, and you don't need a stage x rebuilt one, a basic rebuild and shift kit will handle your car without breaking a sweat and end up being a lot cheaper.
