Default still waiting on my Rims !!!!!!

after telling me my wheels were shipping on new years eve to cali from 'foreline' and will be at 'driverzinc' in a week, then shipped to me i have not recieved an update , an email or an 'excuse' ..and yes i have sent 2 emails on seperate occasions trying to find out what is happening with this rim order ..We are approaching 3 weeks since Jan 1st with NO update. and yes you have had my money since JUNE 2011 after choosing to cann 'fikse' for 'forgelines'
remember i ordered rims in JUNE last year!
I re-ordered on the 15th NOV 2011 after being told the forgeline order promises to be 4 to 5 weeks.
this whole experience has has been ongoing for way too long and to say im not happy would be an understatment.

why cant you keep your clients updated on there products in a profesional manner ?..

Here's a cut and pasted email from Forgeline saying your wheels are done which was received right before Christmas so you know your wheels are done:

Fonseca is ready to ship.
Swain is ready to ship
MANISCALCO

Thanks Jon,

We sent payment right after the first of the year, and Forgeline wanted to hold the wheels until our check cleared to ship the wheels.

They must have cleared now, because I got tracking numbers on the other set for for "Fonseca" yesterday and another customer of ours, Chad Ryker got his wheels shipped last week too:

This message was sent to you at the request of FORGELINE MOTOR SPORTS to notify you that the electronic shipment information below has been transmitted to UPS. The physical package(s) may or may not have actually been tendered to UPS for shipment. To verify the actual transit status of your shipment, click on the tracking link below or contact FORGELINE MOTOR SPORTS directly.

My only comment.... If you send a couple of emails with no reply.... Pick up the phone and call the vendor. Much better for both sides...

I've gotta say +1 on ringing US vendors. I've had the odd similar issue which a stern phone call usually sorts out. Record it, that way there's less to dispute.

I feel your pain though, as we definatly don't get the same attention local customers would. I feel some vendors see us as more of a hassle, which is surprising given the US economy.

Thanks for the heads up on your issues though, I'm presently in the market for new wheels and when you are spending that amount of money, those sort of delays are not good enough.

Sounds like your issues are being sorted...let us know how you go.

I get phone calls weekly from Australian customers. Hell, we built a car for a guy out there and shipped it for him.

I wouldn't say we don't give international orders the same kind of attention...

For example, I had PM'd Gavin that his wheels were ready and shipping from Forgeline. I took the time to PM him... Proactively telling him that they were in shipping from Forgeline.

Maybe someone is a little and I can understand since he has waited so long, with first the Fikse order, and then switching to Forgeline, but at some point, I can only do so much and I think by PM'ing him without prompting was the right thing to do...

Long story short, your wheels are done, we have proven confirmation of that. And as soon as they show up here on our dock, believe me, you'll be the first one to know about it.

Just a heads up, order direct through Forgeline and you will pay more for your wheels then if you went through a vendor......hundreds more.

Not sure why Driverz wouldn't be getting them discounted through Forgeline. Might explain why their quote for my wheels was higher than the vendor I went through.
