Default G8?

Anyone own a pontiac G8? Your thoughts on one? Been thinking about selling some old cars and getting something modern, I like the new mustang and challengers but with 2 little kids been thinking 4 door would be better. Thanks Telly

My brother had one the V6 model, full load. Lowered with some wheels on it.
it was an awesom riding car, more than enough power for a driver long trip cruiser. it was all black, very nice.

Buddy of mine has one that he races out at Infineon. Has the V8 with a new cam, air intake, electric water pump and he put in 3.55 differential. He just broke into the 12.9's this Wednesday night. Not too shabby.

He has a blast with it. Total daily driver then grabs the helmet and heads to the track every wed night. It runs like clock work within 3 onehundredths every pass. His daughter races a 69 Camaro and he was feeling left out.

He loves his G8. What more can you ask for; V8, rear wheel drive, fast as hell and 4 doors to haul the family around in. Total sleeper. :-)

I have a G8 GT. Pretty good car for the money. Lots and lots of space, rides nice, handles well for it's size and weight, plenty of power, and really no problems in 40k miles except a set of control arms. The transmission leaves a bit to be desired but I hear it gets way better with a TCM tune. Great aftermarket support for the car since it's an LS engine.

It's a really big car. It feels smaller than it is when driving, but it is big. I'm just over 6', and I can sit behind the drivers seat easily. If you are looking for that kind of size, it's going to be a tough car to beat.
