Default firewall help!

I am looking for some suggestions/advice to repair my firewall. I purchased the car with a large square cut in the firewall. I was told by the previous owner that the hole was cut to clear a big cap distributor of course he doesn't have the piece that was cut out and the plate that I purchased to smooth the firewall doesn't cover that area.

Does anyone sell patch panels for the firewall, or would I need to replace the whole thing?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Ha! That's nothing... Here's what I started with!

I ended up with a donor body shell that was worthless in other areas, and I cut out the cowl and firewall panel that I needed. It wasn't an 'easy' fix, but the cowl is just spot welded and seam sealer-ed in place. Just takes some time/patience...

They make all the pieces you you need to fix it. I think you can even buy it already smoothed? If you have a LKQ/Keystone in your area they will be able to get you what you need. They bought Goodmark about a year ago. This way you don't have to pay shipping!

Is there one local to IL near you? I'm local to area and would be interested if I don't have to pay shipping for my chevelle body parts.
