Default How the Pro Touring bug got me.

Tell you a story of how I became caught by the pro touring movement.
I went to a Sam's club here in FTW which was advertising a Orange 69 Camaro for sale by order for $300K. True story. I was so struck by the look and stance I couldnt stop smiling. Soon after I was assigned to a office in Carrollton, coincidentally right down the street from Unique Performance. Say what you will, those guys were super nice to me and let me walk around the shop on my long lunches and soak it in. Hooked every since.

I got the bug in 1973 when my dentist and family friend purchased a new 455 SD Trans Am.

I only got bitten recently...

When I decided it was time to redo the dead brakes and suspension on my Z/28.

I hooked up with Steve at EBMC, and got on this site.....

Now I am neck deep into my Project with much spent and much more to go...

I have to pull off of it to do house stuff, buy the wife a car, buy a new Truck, ect...

But I will get my car all set up soon...It is on the road, but it needs more work...

I am bit bad, and this website and you guys are only making it worse....Or better

You knew about Pro Touring before the Godfather (Stielow) did?
