Default Hand Built Flintlock Rifles

Hey guys! I thought it would be fun to share with everyone some photos of some rifles I've built. I've been working with my dad building these since I was 12 and have built them for a living full time for almost 10 years now. Almost every part on these we make by hand, one piece at a time, just like in the automotive industry. It's time consuming but well worth it when you see your finished product! Hope you enjoy...

This one is a Cherry stock and all Silver inlayed...

Here's one that is relief carved and brass mounted...

This is a cased pair of pistols. I made everything, even the case...

And here is an all hand made knife I made. The blade is about 8" long...

That is a lost art. You sir are a craftsman. Funny, hotrodders do this whether it's a garage, a car, a gun or a piece of art...

Amazing craftsmanship! The detail is stunning.

Do people actually fire these or is it treated like more of an art piece?

Craftsmanship!!!!

Great work Shane!

It's so refreshing to see commitment and work of this caliber. Nice niche too. No college degree can match what you're doing.

PM me or post your contact info as I have a friend who's a serious and diverse collector that might be interested. He has Rolling blocks, Henry's, Sharps, pre '64 Winchester's, Colt Navy's, Smiths, German/Japanese/American military, knives, etc.

I hope it catches his eye because I'd love to see your work in person.
