ATTENTION WHEEL MANUFACTURES!! Is there anyone that makes an affordable Mesh Wheel?

I have scoured the internet, our sponsors, this and other forums and coming up short. Is there any manufacturer that makes a 18"+ mesh style wheel that: 1)isn't for BMW(has the 5x4.75 or 5x120.65 PDC), 2)has a good offset/backspacing for most muscle cars and 3)is affordable for guys on a budget. And when I say budget, I mean I want to buy 4 rims for around $1,000 and not just one rim. I have seen so many threads about people looking for this exact product, and it seems weird that there isn't a company that is filling that need. I mean they are being produced in the BMW bolt patterns, so it can be that much more difficult for someone to tweak the designs for a slightly larger PDC.

This is so close to what I am looking for, other than the offset. These are around +60 offset, which means they are designed for Corvettes and newer F-body's. But they are an 18" wheel with a 5x120.65 PDC and they are around 1K for a set of four, plus this place offers free shipping. If they had a better offset they would be on their way to my house.

I really want this style rim, but looks like unfortunately I am going to be sticking with the 5 spoke wheels that are readily available unless someone has a secret they are willing to share.

If 1k is your budget you will have to stick with something like that which is a cast wheel. Any manufacture that is here in the USA would lose money making a wheel that size for $250 each. There is more than $250 just in materials, then you have milling time, polish, assembly.

Our 18's start at $ 625.00 each and I think we are priced pretty well among the competition.

Just run adapters if you really want those wheels.

Just save up for a wheel that fits your car. That is on how I did mine. I am sure everyone else does the same. Originally, I was going to do Budnik's, but just kept saving and got a 3 piece rim. Here is how I got free shipping. I went there to pick them up.

To piggyback on what others have said, your options are very limited if your budget is $1000. Not knocking being on a budget, but for that price, your are severely limited and there's not much out there. Then when you do find something, they are are either the wrong bolt pattern or wrong offset, as you've said, or just plain ugly. Either save, try and find some used rims for sale or run adapters as member Skatinjay27 stated. Be careful running adapters though. Not sure of what size you're wanting to run, but you can get a nice set of Budniks for about $2500 in 18's I think. Also, try Billet Specialties. They have certain style 18's for about $500/each. If you have $1000, be a little more patient and save another $1500. Lastly, that wheel above is the same bolt pattern, but wrong offset. That pad is too small. You would have to run spacers.

So many options available from a wide range of prices. The low priced cast wheels are from China, even American Racing... What you might save on a low priced wheel designed to fit a late model BMW, you probably make up in money with spacers, plastic hub centric rings, etc. Also, remember that you have a long front hub that probably won't work with a center cap on a BMW wheel. This will require an even bigger spacer and now longer studs. That suddenly puts you in the range of a nice set of custom built wheels in the design and fitment you want specific for your application.

Wheels are the one item I feel make or break a car as far as looks.

If your set on doing this than look for BMW M5 wheels as they're low offset.
