Product Test Volunteers needed

Hey guys, The company that I work for needs some product test volunteers. The main product that we are looking to have some people try out is our new Fuel Slosh Module. This unit is wired inline with the signal from your fuel sender. It takes in a 30 second reading of the signal and outputs the average of this reading. Ford is using a unit similar to this in all their late model vehicles.

If you are chosen to be a tester you will be given a Fuel Slosh Module at no cost. The only thing that we require from our testers is that you give us honest feedback about the product.

We also have many new products in the works that we will be needing testers for. If you fill out our test volunteer work sheet please give us as many details as you can about your vehicle. When we need testers for new products we reference our test volunteer database to see if we have anyone that would be a good fit.

I'm asuming this is to help the accuracy of the fuel guage to the actual fuel level.....

Thats the one thing I hate about my Ricks tank..... my fuel guage can be all over the place and I never trust it once it gets towards 1/4 tank...

If your gauge is all over the place due to fuel slosh this product is the cure. If there is a problem with the accuracy of the sending unit it will just output the average of the inaccurate signal.

The goal of this product is to have your gauge read the same as it would while your car is sitting stationary on level ground as it does while you are carving up some twisty roads or driving in stop and go traffic.

Carl, This unit has two very small potentiometers on it and you set "full" and "empty" by adjusting them so your gauge reads correctly. Do to all the different sending units and the fact that different gauge manufactures seem to use a different voltages to determine full and empty this was the only way we could build a completely universal product. The nice thing about this product is you can calibrate any ohm range sending unit to work with any ohm range gauge. I guess I shouldn't say any. As long as low resistance equal empty and high resistance equals full on both the sending unit and the gauge, the module works perfectly. Vise verse, if high resistance equals empty and low resistance equal full on both the sending unit and the gauge, this module will again work properly. ie A 0 ohms empty 90 ohms full sending unit using a 10 ohms empty 30 ohms full gauge or a 240 ohms empty 33 ohms full sending unit using a 75 ohms empty 10 ohms full gauge.

I've got a new 69 Camaro project in the works that I already have a VaporWorx set up for. I will be testing these two products together with my SpeedHut gauges once my project is a little further away. We do plan to do some bench testing with the two products together before my car is driveable. If you would like info on the results just let me know.

I should also note that we haven't set final retail pricing yet, but we are hoping to be about to sell this Module for $35-45. Wholesale pricing will be available also.
