275 tire w/ wayne due subframe?

I know there aren't many out there, just thought I'd see if anyone has done it. I'm getting new wheels and I want to run the new BFG rival tires. My options are 245/40/18 or 275/35/18. Theres nothing in between. I have 245's on my current wheels and want to to go wider with the new wheels. Planned on running 18x9 up front. Scott

I don't know about the Wayne Due sub, but the factory size on the '96 C4 Grand Sport was 275/40R17, so the suspension should be able to fit the larger tire. I would think that you could too, although it could mean limiting your turn radius slightly depending on the sway bar setup and any other factors that might limit steering travel.

I'm running a Wayne Due C-5 sub with 275/30R19 on 19X9 1/2 with no issues.

Awesome, thanks for replys. I think the only issueill have is at full lock on the frame. My 245s will barely touch at full lock, slow speed in parking lot. I may have slight amount I can move the wheel outward there is plenty of room with the current wheel offset. Do you recall the offset on those 9.5s? Scott

I'm running 18x9 w/275's on a wayne due c4 subframe. Everythings tight but it works. Had to fab a splined sway bar to get adequate clearances for turning radius.

If I remember correctly my 19X9.5 are 6" back space.
