Default My Latest T/A :)

So I just picked up a very nice 70.5 4 speed. I actually bought it about a month ago. Unfortunately it is a numbers matching car, but I don't care! My plans are to do a complete DSE 4 link rear, DSE subframe up front, 6 piston brakes, 6 speed, cage, change the interior to black and a LSX motor. I want to run it in a few Good Guys Auto X's and maybe some track time. I think it will be pretty kool to roll up to Circuit of America and unload a '70 Trans AM instead of my Ferrari Eric@ Griffith's metal shaping is finishing up on my '72 now, then we will make a plan. He has some other projects to get done, so it will be a few months til I can get started. For now, I just put installed some QA1's, DSE rear springs and 17" ralleys. I will start a build thread when we get going.

That looks great! I love those Wheels too!

But why not keep it Pontiac Powered? That would be even cooler in the Ferrari mix And those Wheels too, then it is just a "Stock" Trans Am.. He..He..

Those 70`s Trans Ams has maybe the coolest dash thats ever factory made

I don't think those old Pontiac motors can handle much road racing..

He..He.. I sort of agree, an LS is a much smarter and more logical Choice. And easier to road race because of superior "everything". It is "race ready" Stock.

Roger Bolliger from Switzerland races a Aluminium Butler engine in europe. And you do already have Pontiac engine Mounts... He..He..
