Default 2014 Silverado 'RSV' SEMA build at Roadster Shop

Wanted to introduce another new project here at the Roadster Shop that we thought you guys might be interested in seeing.

We were recently awarded a 2014 Silverado by GM to build up for the upcoming SEMA show, and turn it into the 'Silverado RSV' (Race Support Vehicle) concept you see pictured below. The purpose of the RSV is to act as a support center for teams and race shops while at racetrack events, autocross and testing events. The RSV would act as both the tow-rig for a race car and the service point, equipped with essential, high quality, equipment and tools to perform mechanical assistance, repairs and allow the team to tune and develop the race car while at the track.

The Concept:

And the truck as it arrived at the shop:

I designed these with 2 inches of additional coverage. I wanted to go to the style line but they would be too big and cost a fortune. The rear would be bigger than a dually flare.
