Default New From Lansing, MI

Just became a member this past weekend - I am here for three reasons - first, I am a huge car guy - I started out as a mechanic years ago and then got into the construction business - I've had my own contracting business for the past 25 years and wrenching on cars has always been my number one hobby - I am an awesome tuner of carbed motors (a little old school!!) an awesome detailer - and have some interior skills - I have 6 classic cars/trucks - all GM BTW!! - secondly, I recently purchased my seventh project - you guessed it, a 69 Camaro that I am looking to Pro Tour - all of the sheet metal work is done and that is it - I am looking to hook up with a reputable shop or individual to work with me on the car to make it a reality - lastly, I'm 50 years young and just got my youngest out of college - I might have missed my calling 25 years ago and would like to start a new chapter in my life doing what I've always loved to do - work on cars - nothing at this stage of my life would be more gratifying than to team/partner up with someone on some sort of shop - whether it be a tuning/upgrade shop or an all out restoration shop, I would be all in - none the less, very happy to be here - hope I meet some new people and learn some new things and get my Camaro done!!! LOL

Welcome to the site! You will find a lot of great info and people lurking around here. Along with some pretty amazing builds!
Be sure to ask all the questions that you might have, none to big or to small.

My shop is over in the Kalamazoo area, Let me know if there is anything that we can help you with on your project. We are getting pretty good at all these 1st gen Camaros with 4 of them that we are currently building right now! lol

Good luck!

Thanks Jody and Jeff - not sure if this is the place to post the cars I have, but I'll start with my 66 cutlass - cool thing about this car is that my mother bought it new - I worked summers on my uncle's farm and bought it from her just before my junior year in high school for $750 - my wife and I went on our first date in this car - did a frame off restoration, put in an aluminum headed 455 with 550+hp, beefed up turbo 400 and a 9" ford rear end with 4:11 gears - car is a scream to drive - runs 11's on drag radials and a 1800 stall converter - this car is for sure a keeper!!

This is my Nova - I just finished this a couple of years ago - has a Heidt's front clip, a 450hp 383 stroker motor, and 700R4 with a 3:55 rear - car runs real strong and is fun to cruise in - planning on tubbing it and installing a four link somewhere down the road
