Default Brand differences in A-arms, Spindles, geometry?

This is a question I see is "mildly" answered if I search for it, so sorry for asking again, but dont have any Clear answer.

It seems like Ridetech and Speedtech is somewhat "dominating", this is not meant as any bashing or anything. But is their stuff just the best? Or is it biased because so many here use them? (It seems so??) Are they the most up to date and modern?

And is there actually much difference in the geometry the different Companys get With their parts? There will always be some rubbish Products I Guess. But Count them out, would not believe they are big brands, or..?

And most is probably an Upgrade from Stock, my car has Heidts arms and spindles, I dont see many use those, is it becaue they are worse, or just not as much advertised? More for the Hot Rod crowd?

UMI? Heidts? Speedtech? DSE? etc? I dont know all brands, just examples here.

What is the real differences? It could of course vary very much from how each one may put it together, ball joint heights and much more, rideheight etc. But the basics?

If you understand the question? I would love some input or discussion on it, I am not gonna buy anything New, not before I see the need for it atleast. Just wondering.

I understand the question and my answer may be from what I read on this site and other sites as well. I, personally, have no track experience, but manufacturers like Speedtech, DSE and Ridetech are from guys with real world experience. There are lots of guys here who swear by the aforementioned brands and if I was in the market I wouldn't have an issue buying either one. Now, as far as who's the best of those 3...it probably remains to be a personal choice. As all three of these from what I hear and have read are top brands and they all put alot of research into their products. Me personally, I don't like the way Heidt's and BMI stuff looks. That's just me though...so anyone who has it, don't shoot me. I think Heidt's caters more to the hot rod crown and not much to the pro-tourer. To me, Heidt's need to come up with more newer stuff. They've been selling the same stuff from 10 years ago. Some of thier suspension stuff hasn't come into the age of bigger, wider wheels.

I would suggest figuring out how you'll use the car the majority of the time and what you "want" the car to be capable of achieving. Be realistic and honest with yourself. Determine what alignment specs/range you will need for your usage and which suspension components will work with your steering, brake, header, and wheel set up. Then you can ask the different companies if their systems will achieve your objectives.

Speed Tech, Ride Tech, Detroit Speed, Hotchkis, Global West, SPC, Chassisworks all have good products though there are variables.

If you present them with hard data it will simplify the process for all parties involved.

Ah yes, this seems some good answers, I am not gonna buy anything, now atleast, rather "maximize" what I have, it is not a racecar anyway.

And I Guess you could maybe divide the brands like this:

1. The Hot Rod crowd type brands.

2. The inbetween brands for more Touring/Mild type good handling sporty type. -Who prabably is the smartest Choice.. He..He..

3. And then the more Hardcore type brands for more all-out performance.

Especially maybe if you look at the different brands own Project/demonstration cars.

Heidts has that Heidts Performance Car Challenge, maybe to get more of the "other than Hot Rod crowd"?

And I really agree that the look of the parts also play a role, a car that goes fast but is ugly/boring is not as cool as a car that looks cool AND goes fast, even though I am not the guy who usually sacrifice go-fast for looks..
