Brakequip flaring tool rocks. I also have a Mastercool and have rebuilt the pump twice.

The serrations on the Mastercool dies leave marks in the tubing, if you are concerned about the sort of thing.

We still use the Mastercool occasionally but the Brakequip is my go to for 37* AN flare and 45* double flare.

Thanks, the brakequip looks like it would be a little easier and faster? After you add the 37* to the mastercool theres only $58 difference to go with the brakequip bq350 $428.40.Tooltopia mastercool $290 then $80 for the 37*

The Eastwood tool is the same as the Brakequip. I have one and love it. Works awesome.

I've heard great things about both. Keep in mind the Brakequip tool is vise mounted only. The Mastercool is hanheld and portable.

I have been considering the portability of the mastercool. I asked brakequip about the eastwood tool,of course they beat it up saying its a cheap knock off.
