Default Tejas - 1966 Chevelle at GAP Racing

Tejas is a 1966 Chevelle that is being built for a long time customer of ours that we have done other vehicles for. He purchased this car with the intent of building a Pro-touring car that could pull double duty at the drag strip also. Here is the run down of the project

The car is a real 1966 Chevelle SS:
Street Rod Garage Custom Chassis
Ram Jet 502 BBC
Procharger
6 Speed Magnum Transmission
Super narrowed rear for a large lip on the 20x13
Forgeline RB3C 19x10 20x13
Baer Brakes
Car will retain most of the factory trim
Paint : Bright Silver
and many more as the project gets going

We ended up having the car media blasted. Then we replaced the entire floor, trunk, both doors, fenders, hood, and built custom wheels tubs.
This is it once it was back on the original chassis

First plan was to run a blown LS motor. So now that we finally decided on the BBC we are going to redo the firewall.

This is the Chassis that Street Rod Garage built for us. The rear frame rails have been moved in to allow for the larger tire. We used their Evolution front suspension and a triangulated 4 bar on the rear.

We also will be running the Ride Tech Remote reservoir triple adjustable coil overs

You guys are doing some exciting stuff! It's a good thing I don't live closer or you'd get tired of seeing my face.
