Default Giving back to Dad (Need paint shop)

I need your advice on a paint shop here in Northern California, preferably Sacramento area, that can do some rust repair, trim repair, replating, and paint/body on my dad's 1967 El Camino.

A little backround on this; My dad has owned this car since 1971 when he was in highschool (yea, he was only two classes behind 'Dirt') and it's also the car I drove in highschool, which makes it very special to me as well and why I chose it over the Corvette as the car that will be passed on to me. Many years and nearly 300,000 miles have taken their toll on the car and we have slowly been doing things to make it more road worthy over the last few years. It has all new suspension, brakes, 350/700R4 combo, and a new interior. We did what we could as we went along and especially while I learned to work on cars. Now the time has come to repaint it, but here's the catch, he has no idea.

See, my mom and I have been plotting over the last two years about how we are going to be able to repaint the car without him knowing and we finally have the means to do so. We figured after being diagnosed with Leukimia and beating cancer after that, he deserves it.

What I need now is a shop that does good work, and can get the job done, and entire respray, in two weeks.

If you guys have experience with someone up this way, please let me know so I can get cracking on this. I'm doing all the leg work right now because Mom is in Hawaii for work until August (we're going to try and paint the car while dad is visiting her in July) so it's up to me to get it all taken care of. We have a budget of about $10k but I'm going to make really sad eyes at my grandparents and aunt to see if I can't get a little more help lol

Thanks in advance guys,

Matt

Fulmers auto body in Placerville. Great work and great price. My fathers car was painted there, my firebird is going there, and our sunbeam tiger will be going there as well.

Spent the last few days of free time I had to find a shop and lay out a plan. I think I've found the right mix of shops and people to help out and get this done. It should be great when it's all finished.

Work starts on the 26th.

I was working on the car earlier today with him. New radiator and fan shroud. He's going to rip out the A/C system in preparation for a vintage air system he's ordering. I'm very sneakily asking about what parts need what work as far as trim, etc.

And the trans is still seeping a bit of fluid, which gives me the excuse as to why the car has to be gone for so long.
