Default Shifter adjustment help please

Hi guys, I have a b&m pro stick that i used with my old. 350/350 setup. I'm finishing up my 6.0/4l80 swap, and got the correct cable bracket From b&m for the 4l80 and I cannot get it adjusted correctly. I've done it exactly like the instructions say to adjust it, but it's not correct. If I set it in reverse, when I shift into low, the barrel is off by an inch or so. If I adjust the barrel for low, it won't catch any other gears. Here's the instructions that I've been going off of. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Have you removed the 'pin' that makes it a 4 speed shifter?

I took a look at them and it looks like the shifter may need a different gate plate? I Use a different shifter on mine that had a pin to remove as it was a ratchet type.

I did not know there was a pin that needed removed. I assume it's on the shifter itself?

I think in your case its a different gate if yours is a gated shifter. You have to make the shifter hit the extra position. That would explain why its out so much.
