I'd consider this good news!

JANUARY 20, 2015
Agreement brings Trans Am Series to a National Television Audience
Miami, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2015) – The Trans Am Race Company has announced a multi-year agreement with CBS Sports Network, bringing the Trans Am Series to a national television audience, as part of the long-running CBS Sports Spectacular series.

Finally nationally televized racing to be excited about in the States. I can't wait for this!

I hope they move up to full race coverage instead of just bits and pieces for an hour long show like they have scheduled.

Oops I was thinking this would be aired on the normal CBS network. Now I gotta see if I can get this channel...

That is good news. I honestly thought the series had died up until a few months ago because I hadn't heard anything about it in so long. Trans-Am is one of the few forms of road racing that I can relate to. Will have to set the DVR...

I always loved watching the Trans Am series, cars that looked like bad a$$ versions of what we were driving. Can't wait for this!
