Big Red Event Near You?

Hey Guys and Gals,

We are trying to fill up our Summer with some more events between land speed races. Any suggestions of events we should attend? We are open to different types of racing and even some "cars and coffee" events. Big Red and crew are based out of Southern California, but are open to travelling for a cool event.

It will be cool to get out there and meet more Big Red Camaro fans.

I'd say show up to the Norcal Shelby Mini Nats Aug 7-9 at Sears Point. Open track Sat/Sun plus a drag racing deal on Friday. Sounds right up Big Red's alley!

Absolutely. They can and they do. Members on this site have ran there. I hope to have my 68 there in August. Would love to run with you guys.

August is going to be tough. We'll be in Bonneville for Speed Week during the Shelby Mini Nats. We'll be trying to break our previous speeds with our F3A Procharger and some new aero mods. We tried them out at Mojave and had success with setting the new record at 238.1 mph and have plenty of power left in the bank. We're still working on the tune. We were set to go to El Mirage this weekend to dial in the car, but the event was called...due to wet conditions. Yes, wet conditions in California. The dry lakebed was not dry enough.
