Default Big THANK YOU to SSLANCE

It's not often someone exceeds your expectations in this industry, but Lance was able to do so. Recently, I purchased a motor in VA, and as part of the deal, I needed to send my current motor to VA, then have the new motor shipped back to me here in So Cal. I put up a post about recommended shippers, and Lance answered the call. He runs a shipping company, and dialed in both shipments via UPS freight, for far less than the other companies I had shopped.

Here's where he exceeded expectations; He put up with my constant need for information. Not sure how many of you have shipped a motor across the entire country, but it was nerveracking for me. I felt like my kid was in that box, both ways. When there was a concern on my side, Lance proactively called the shipper to keep me informed. I never had to ask him to follow up, check in with me, etc---he just did so on his own. We had an issue with the motor on its way to VA, but once again, Lance was on top of it and handled it quickly. It's only when something goes wrong that a vendor has the opportunity to provide what I call "Customer Service". This is what seperates them from the others. Lance was outstanding in this regard. It was a huge effort to do this, but Lance made it easy, and everything worked as it should. Both motors have been delivered safely thanks to Lance.

A thousand thank yous to Lance once again. Would highly reccomend him for any shipping needs anyone may have here.

Doug

Aw thanks Doug **blushing** I was happy to be able to help you guys out.

So many on the forums have helped me over the years with car related stuff when they know much more than I about something, so I am more than happy to help out back whenever I can with what I have experience with.

Glad it all turned out well, believe me I know how nerve wracking it is to do something like this that you've never done before. The remote handled shipments are a bit out of my wheelhouse as well, as I didn't get to actually put my hands on either of the shipments...but it isn't rocket science either.

Thanks for the kind words. Good luck with your new acquisition...

I guess it's too late to redirect it huh?

Dude, your text that said "If you forget to pay me, don't worry about it--I will redirect the motor to my address" was memorable.
