We can set you up with correct offsets / tires, and rear dimensions and the parts.

Do most people narrow their rear ends? Is it becauase wheels looks strange when they are really wide with positive offsets?

I had my 12 bolt rear end shortened, and new ends put on. I believe it was shortened 2" on each side. Wheels are 17 X 11 with 5 1/2" offset.

I had mine done at Meanstreets Performance, Vince did it. He would have all the answers. He created a page of what he did.

Default go to Prodigy or

If you are into doing it yourself you need to select your tire rim combo first, brakes and then measure for the width of the rear.

Default Do you have to have tires/wheels first?

I am looking for the same answer. I am having the wheels made to specs (probably 19 X 10's) so the exact offset is negotiable. Somebody said 2" per side,,,,, Is that the max that is reasonable (without ending up with 10" deep dished rim that is so tough on bearings).

So,,,can you play it safe at 1 1/2 or 2" per side and then fit the wheel?
