Default thank god for regular maintenance!!

I thought to myself today... i should change the plugs in the camaro. its been 2 years, might as well!

Sure enough, i found a broken spark plug, and one plug with nearly ZERO gapping.

Yea, she ran a lot better after that! YIKES!

I'd be pulling the heads off as soon as possible if I were you. Broken plugs don't just happen.

The spark plug was broken at the wire end (i probably bumped it putting the headers back on), not inside the motor... other wise i'd be having a heart attack! LOL

Good catch, but what about the one with almost zero gapping?

I am by no means highly mechanically inclined. But wouldn't a broken plug have some significant or obvious effects on the motor and how its running???

Good catch though! I dont even know how to change plugs, so I am not insulting at all, just asking.

that was most likely installed when i had the engine built, i had not touched the plugs since then.

BC69: A broken plug basically means that the one cylinder wasnt firing, it was coated in oil. I was running on 7 cylinders! YIKES!
