Default early A bodies widest front wheels ?

Any ideas on how to run wider front wheel/tire on the 64-67 gm 'A' bodies ?
I've been Autocrossing my 1965 ElCamino and running 235's on a 7" rim is not enough tire. Looks like a frame notch might help on the rear of the tire but the front is hitting sway bar ... I guess a frame clip or after market frame would do it but not quite ready for that expense. I'm planning on a rear frame notch and mini tub to get a 295 or so out back but that narrow front isn't going to help.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

No wheel tubs and rubs a bit at full lock. I believe a fabricated spline sway bar would be better or mounted to the top of the frame. Notch the frame would be good to do too.

On the fenders you can cut off the lip and replace it with 3/16" cold rolled rod.

Thanks Vince, your 65 is killer. I'm going to go with the splined sway bar and a small notch on the frame. You confirmed what I was thinking on the fender wells. I'm going a little more conservative than yours with a 17x9.5 with a 6'' BS and hopefully can keep the fender wells.
