Default Seat modifications 2nd gen mintubbed Camaro

When minitubbing a 2nd Gen. Can the rear seat be modified without removing
the upholstery?

The only source I know that shows what is necessary to make the rear set fit in a mintubbed 2nd gen is DSE's website. You may want to peruse the builds and see if you can find it. I believe I've seen it in SW's 73 TA build. The green car not the red car.

If I'm not mistaken, they section the seat frame in order to narrow it. They also flatten the floor and change the way the bottoms connect to the floor. Though, that might not be necessary.

Just throwing this out there: Not sure where I read it, but supposedly 4th gen rear seats fit with minimal modifications in a mini-tubbed 2nd gen. I haven't tried it. I did section mine and threw the original covers on temporarily.
