Default DSE Subframe update

To All:

Hello Everyone since the other thread got closed, I thought I would start up another one so any further discussions could take place.

I am still considering getting one for my build.

Has anyone heard anything further about it in the last couple of weeks?

Has anyone put a deposit down on one? If so, what was the single item that caused you to want to send in your deposit?

I look forward to hearing some of your thoughts.

Thanks,

tyoneal

By far, the most significant part of the design is the stamped crossmember. The complex shape allowed DSE to "wrap" the crossmember around the rack. It would take a ton of effort to duplicate that shape with basic fabrication on a production basis. As a result, DSE was able to locate the rack exactly where they wanted it to be without relocating the engine.

Come September, we'll all get to see that clip run against other clips at RTH2--which is what everyone keeps clamoring for, right? Direct comparison.

It's a party! Run Thru The Hills 2. It's Performance driving event that includes a tour through the winding roads of the Great Smoky Mountains, an 1/8th mile dragstrip, and an autocross set up on a 3/8th mile figure eight track--real track surface, not a parking lot. Oh, and a bbq. Kyle, Stacy, and their blue 69 Camaro Test car will be participating as well as a slew of other well known cars. So we get to see that subframe in action.
