Default Legend’s Blazer Build

Well as all of yall know on this forum you finish one build and it’s on to the next. My Hellephant C10 and 70 Camaro are for the most part “done”. I’ve been working on something else and decided to start a build thread on it also. It’s a little out of the wheelhouse for this site but should fit in ok.

Last year I ordered a Roadster Shop Legends Blazer chassis. I was able to get my hands on the elusive LT4 so it’s probably one of the last ones to come out of there with one. They only offer the LT1 option as of now. I took delivery of it last month and it’s an impressive piece of engineering.

I found a very nice 76 Blazer from Boris with the intention of just two-toning it and being done. But we had some old corrosion coming thru the hood and couldn’t match the factory Moss Gold so we’re at a full repaint. The Blazer was repainted about 11 years ago and looked great but this is how it goes.

It’s a 36,000 mile rig with a straight 6 and 3 on the tree. Was a 2wd. I know ppl will say I shouldn’t have tore it apart but I’m a firm believer in the nicer vehicle you start with the nicer you end with and it’ll save you money in the long run.

I was also able to snatch some Mar-K Trim before their less than stellar exit from the market. Going back with Shelter Green, stays real close to factory color but a little more green than brownish gold. The rendering doesn’t represent that thou, it was before I decided to make the change.

Saw the chassis @ the GG's show in their display. Very nice combo of parts & very 'OE' engineered appearing set-up.

Dang !! Is this a sign ...
First off LOVE this, and this is perfect timing as my buddy is right now trying to sell me his near perfect 72' K5. I've been researching these RS setups and it looks amazing, and definitely the way I would go.

Watching VERY closely

Cheers
Steve
