Default Thinking of getting this hood? Thoughts

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2349023&rd=1,1

Thoughts. If i decide to get it, it will be going on a Blue 67 with budnik laterals thats on the ground. I will leave the hood raw if I get it BTW.

I like the hood design if the cowl was about 4" shorter.

Only way i'm getting it is if I was to keep it raw. Loosing maybe 5 pounds to have a hood that looks just like a fiberglass hood after paint is not worth that much to me.

I'm just kinda thinking outloud. Lots of cudas run flat black hoods and look badass, this would look the same from a distance but then up close you would be able to tell it was carbon.

I like it, I'd open up the area in front of the cowl to use as a heat-extractor if it were mine.

I talked to this guy about a 2" hood like this or a 2" cowl hood. He said he has to ck with who make the hoods. Also trying to find out if this is a CF framed hood or fiberglass framed hood? He is checking?? If it's FG frame than I thinks it's priced to high, if it's CF frame than not a bad price if the fit and finish are good. I have seen alot of CF hood that should have never been painted.

It does look like its Fiberglass framed hood, which I agree with you on that aspect, should be carbon.
