Default Finally starting one!

Well, it's been a long time, and we FINALLY found our donor car (yesterday!)....It's a 1971 Nova (yep, another Nova!) that'll get some Camaro sheetmetal and assorted other goodies from a '69 model. You may recognize the rendering from my artwork page here (thanks, Scott! ), and yes, we are going to go at it full steam...

I have chosen a shop in the mid-west for the brunt of the fab work that my wife and I can't do ourselves, and will post pics of the donor car soon (not much to look at right now....)
In any event, I envisioned this car back in high school, originally, and am finally going to realize it in steel... the house is buzzing with excitement here, and the whole family is behind it 100%....
Preliminary plan is a 302, cross-ram, T-5 and a 9-inch (we wanted a nod to the classic DZ 302 Z/28, and we'll run a bench seat, just because it looks so different. The vinyl top is still out for debate, and was originally penned in to keep things looking a bit more, well, "factory".
Look for updates as I pull my hair out.

WOW, I love the RS idea. What a original concept! This thing is going to be hot. Looks like you'll be calling GPSuperStore.com for lots a goodies.

Good luck.

I had to do a double-take as well. Should be a cool project, Brian. Which shop is doing the fab work?
