Default Not so new but definitely project - sweet 59 !

I hope you wont be disappointed here because its not pro on anything ..

After i sold my Z06 63 vette i wanted to find 58-60 vette as for restoring project in future. I have my hands full of camaro wich will be in pieces for a long time. I was looking for as orginal car as possible. Not restored or modified. Afer going thru about 30 car this came up at ebay.

Its been stored since 80 when the owner passed away. Dirty, used, worn but all orginal except for engine block and radio. Just what i wanted. Rear springs were totally dead, brakes frozen , allmost zero compression on motor due jammed piston rings.

When if finally got it after 2 months shipping from Oklahoma to Finland i changed all fluids, new rear springs, greased about 30 fittings from "modern" front suspension ,rebuild the carb and fixed few wires .
After big battle with the worn 283 i got it running too. Paint was so tired so with help of my friends we striped 60s race theme on it. Heres a few pics on local show and cruise night.

Cool I like the look. Those cars are really pretty primitive. A friend has a '62 Fuelie and it drives like a stinkin' log truck!

Basically just a '53 Chevy with heavy duty springs. If it only rides like a truck you must not have the heavy duty suspension!

Way cool car though! My dad had a '61 that I took to prom.

Shiny Side Up!

Awesome. 59 and 60 2 of my favorite years. Love the boat tail and dual headlights! I miss my 60.

I bet that is a real hit over there.
