Default has anyone shaves the locks but left the door handles

im wanting a smooth clean look on my 68 camaro.im going to run the fesler billet door handles and would like to shave the lock.how would you go about getting the car to lock?the car wont be sitting left unattended to much so i really dont need a lock but it would be nice.do you guys have any thoughts on this you could share?

Some type of electric lock & key fob. I've got no suggestions though.

Thats what im doing on my hot rod shaving the locks and keeping the handles but its a 1948and the handles are sooooo cool and i needed to leave a lil chrome down the side of the car being i removed most of the other trim.

I will also be shaving the lock/filling the button hole on the handle.

I'm gonna have door poppers with an emergency manual opener in case something goes wrong.

Just use a power lock setup and a decent alarm system that will remotely lock and unlock the doors. As a safety, I think I might hide a set of contacts for each door lock motor somewhere under the hood so that, if the alarm were to fail, you could unlock the doors.

I also shaved the door and trunk locks.
kept door handles on it though.
