Congrats on the new project.
You are one brave man! I'm thinking that it's going to cost you a LOT more to fix this one than it would to just start with one that is straighter.

Nice find, good luck on the build. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 69 Firebird too. It's good to see more Firebirds on the site.

holy crap that thing is just about gone,, you have alot of work ahead of you but good luck!! Get it torn down and see what you have for a shell to start with!
you should be buying roof skin, dash top, 1/4 panels, hood, fenders, doors, floorboards, trunkfloor, wheel houses, headlight buckets/bezels, tail light panel, instead of suspension LOL!!!

Hey bro, not to sound negative, you are a gearhead from another planet. I agree & understand what you mean about wanting to fix it up and that being the fun part & all. But why put yourself thru that if you don't have to....physically & financially. Nonetheless, congrats & have a damn good time. Like others have said, keep us up to date on this one. I want to see this.

I'm not sure what the difference between replacing a dented and rusted panel and one that is just rusted is.

This car is more savable than many I have seen saved.
