Default L92 Heads??

Guys, I got a really good deal and I mean really good deal on a pair of new, bare L92 heads that I couldn't pass up which I'm going to put on my LS 6.0 for my 68 C10. Now, I do know the L92 heads have a different port on them. They are the rectangular port heads instead of the normal cathedral port heads. All this to say is, what intake does the L92 heads use? I think it's the LS3 intake am I correct? I also know I could use one of those high dollar FAST LSX intakes, but no thanks.

Either the LS3 Corvette / L76 G8 intake, or the truck intake. The truck intake is tall though, good for a old truck, blaxer, etc.

Correct. FAST is or has come out with an intake for the L92/LS3 heads though. It's not cheap. I would just use an L76/LS3 intake and call it done. The exhaust ports are LS6 exhaust ports so any 1-3/4" header will work. 1-7/8" would work better though if available.

509Chevelle...if you interested in the truck intake I have a brand new one still on the crate that I'm not going to use. PM me if interested.

Also make sure to get a custom grind cam for that or do your research on what they like. L92's on 6.0s are amazing setups when done right. PTV clearance needs to be checked with the LARGE valves the L92's have. Friend just built a LS2 w/ L92s (stock porting) and LS3 intake and his setup did 460/450 rwhp/lb-ft NA and drives perfectly fine for a DAILY!

Default GMPP "Spider" LS-3/L92/LSA/LS9

I have sold an intake manifold (GMPP) for the L92 head.

This intake is available for "Carb" OR "EFI".

Another user of these is Waterthunder.com for air boat engines.
