Default We all remember ....

... the first one to teach us how to wrench. This is my grandpa. Sorry for getting all sentimental, but i feel that its important at times to remember those who took the time and gave their knowledge on to you. If that person is still alive, be thankful and give them a call or just say 'hi'. I know i'd love to right now.

He died before i could give him a ride with the motor we built together. The pictures kinda says it all.

My dad helped me get into this hobby. He spent many hours just looking over my shoulder and he saw do something wrong. He would just say "try this".
My dad died in 2000 of Cancer at the age of 52. I never got to take him for a ride either. I learned alot from the loss of him. I spend as much family time as I can now. It takes away from my time for working on the car. But some things are just more important. This show call life only happens once, enjoy it.

Default Great picture!

Very cool!
You should be sentimental.
It is great that you are so proud of your Grandfather and want to acknowledge your love and respect for him
Now you have to pass this passion of yours onto to someone else
