Mark--congrats bro--you have got to be stoked!! So is the car going to SEMA as planned?
Tracy, i'm suspicious that you have been using the new "Nice Interior Spray" that Rodger has developed on many of these cars. We'll know somethings up if we see you at SEMA and you are three inches taller with dark wavy hair from his "Tall, Dark and Handsome" spray.

I'm looking in to his " weight loss " spray before SEMA, Might have to order the catalog and become a dealer for the midwest
I got some P M's about details on console, It is made out of fiberglass and the door is for holding Marks pod phone
This is what it looks like after the pour foam cures and you pull it out of mold, Then just start carving to shape and glass up, sand, skim coat, cover and done
I'm going to start another thread with some tips and answers to help out some of the home builders. I will go thru and look at some of the basic stuff to do help get your car ready for upholstery. (remember that it takes me awhile to post pics)
Do you ever do the wire mesh and then cover with polyester fabric and then resin that? I've seen this done for speaker enclosures etc and it seems pretty efficient.
The console in my Nomad is a combo of MDF - a little steel and some glass and some bondo...
And all done! The face plate of the stereo comes off - and when that is removed - it allows the fiberglass cover to come off and gives me a hidden compartment for "stuff". Once this was finished -- I removed the stereo in the dash and replaced the '55 chevy trim with one that has no cutouts... This was shot still in the mock up stage.
A tutorial on how you properly install Marquez panels would be great.
