D,

You may not have gotten out of 1st gear this time, but the community here has full confidence that someday you will.

Yeee-Haaaaa! Muscle Car Dave is a Cone Dodger....

Congrats Bro. It's about time. Oh and don't worry about that spin. As a rookie, If you don't do that at least once you're not trying hard enough!

Thanks Mark. Yeah the cam is a great little piece I think. I'll have to go hunting for that noise now. Ha.

Thanks Wayne - we almost didn't go because it was pouring rain in the morning but we had faith it would at least let up a little.

Ha, I will be getting out of first gear for sure in exactly 25 days.

Yeah no kidding, it is about time I got out and did something. And I fully expect to see some more spins in the future. Controlled spins of course.

Since that painful separation during the holidays (lol), great progress made in a short period of time, even with you assisting Rich.

Seriously...congrats.

Seriously... the holidays were unusually painful. And yes I am quite the lowly skilled assistant as Rich can attest!

Thanks Skip for all the support buddy!

Thanks Vin. Love both your cars man. And now I'm trying to go out and use them hard like you too.

The non-HD GoPro's had audio issues, I tried three and wasn't pleased. The clicking may be a lose front lcd display cover or the contact point between the camera shutter button and the case shutter button. Try a small piece of tape on them and see if that helps.

The Go Pro HD produces good audio. It comes with a separate open back cover for the case which would work well in the interior of a car. The majority of my experience is with street, track, and off-road motorcycles.

Go Pro also just released an lcd that attach's to the camera back and the $79 kit includes the two style of case doors. http://gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/lcd-bacpac

I set up my close friend and KTM dealer as a GoPro dealer in Oct/Nov and we've been very pleased with them as have our customers. Dollar for dollar those little cameras are pretty hard to beat.

Back to the car........Congratulations! Nice ride!
