Default Help Me With My New Color & Wheels

Guys, I've been contemplating on changing my car up some since this is a rebuild. Therefore, I've been further thinking since it is a rebuild I need to change it up some and do things a little different or do I need to leave well enough alone. So, help me decide please. I have been seriously thinking about black ever since the Roadster Shop painted their green Chevelle black. It was so beautiful. Also, the black Chevelle that Fesler did. I know black is hard to keep clean, but when it's clean...it's one of the most beautiful colors out there. Also, if I go with black I'm going to get the Anvil carbon fiber hood, mirrors and deck lid too. But, in opposition, I get alot of complements on my blue. Many guys think it's a custom color. In fact it's just a stock 1990 GM color. I've included pics of what it looks like blue.

Hey Marcus - it's a sickness - I know - and we both have it. I think you car is beautiful and would leave the paint as is. Put that dough toward your new subframe and suspension. Just my .02 buddy!

That's what my wife said I'd "better" do.

Thumbs up

Black is killer when clean, but I like your color blue. It looks great on that car.

Black with blacked out chrome, tinted with black base carbon fiber parts and dark bronze or gunmetal wheels will look killer

First -- I'm a guy that owns a black truck - a black trailer - a black MBZ and a black Porsche....

LEAVE THE BLUE ON IT! It's killer!

I love the blue and the paint and body appear to be great....

I'd ditch the super skinny sidewall tires.... put a bit more "wubba" under there... and do a trick chassis (Ironworks is building a new one that looks great)... and do any other little fix ups that you want to do.

Just my .000000000000002 worth.

Leave the blue such a great looking car, maybe paint the wheel centres for a different look.

Thats a beautiful Chevelle as is. I would focus on other things that you want to change. I am kinda biased because I will be painting my 72 Chevelle in the exact scheme you spoke of. The Avil Carbon fiber parts is part of the plan as well...lol
