Makes sense. I wasn't really serious anyway. I know you couldn't give a flyin f about resale, more just a friendly dig

The shape of the windscreen frame is much more...designed...looking than the old one, if that makes sense. Doesn't look like a grafted appendage.

Thumbs up

Very, very nice Greg. I love the "little" touches to this rod. Lots of time and effort into it, as we can all see. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I know -- but it is a good question... and no... you're right - I could care less. I've always said - this is a HOBBY.... if you want to make money... get a day job. I've never made a dime on a car - or a house either for that matter. I always just do what turns me on -- and damn the torpedos.

I actually thought more about the personalization from an "ego" standpoint. Does it say -- this guy is a DB! And I really gave that a lot of thought. But I like the way they turned out so forged ahead. WTF.

Thanks Tones....

I was real happy seeing it yesterday. It's tough to beat the quality of this shop... There's just nothing they can't pull off and they make it happen so quickly and simply that it makes it real fun. Decisions turn more on "what do you want to do" not - "oh that's going to be tricky" or whatever. They just make it happen.

This build is actually super simple compared to most of what they have going on.

Greg, "can I tell you something" you don't need badges for people to say "that guy is a DB!!"

Been consistantly working on the car lately, would really like to join you all at a few of these shows near the end of summer. Most excellent choice w/the Schott wheels Greg.

I just spent 2 hrs on their site looking at the completed projects. I'm not using any but how long before you have to go to the hospital with a viagra problem? No pills but same result. Pure Sex!

^^^^^^^^^ Oh gawd that's funny right there Wayne!

Seriously -- they have built some killer cars... the QUALITY is just top top notch. Actually -- I'd say they've never been given the kudos that they deserve. I don't think Steve is the "political type"... and we all know that some of this stuff is a little bit political. He's the super quiet type guy. I even have to ASK HIM to chime in with his thoughts and ideas. Now that we've worked together a bit - he will tell me I'm a dumbazz... but that took awhile. Usually it only takes most guys 10 seconds to get there!

The AMBER award this year went to the car "you'd most like to drive home".... had nothing to do with the fit and finish and paint and all the things that have always been part of the 'judging'... Not saying the winning car wasn't super top notch (they all are when they've entered the arena of these big time trophy hunts).
