Hey everyone Im new... hoping to get some good help and info from you all..
I have a 69 mustang fastback that im having restored but of course Im not putting it back to stock spec... so here is the build..
1969 mustang fastback
MOTOR:
coyote 5.0 (not yet gotten)
TRANS:
TKO600
SUSPENTION:
Font~ TCP coil over but need to change to mustang II to fit motor but dont know witch one to go with maybe someone can help me!!!
Rear~ Martz four link.
INTERIOR:
Everything is going to remain stock but the seats going with scat seats
and maybe a better radio...Keeping it classic is a must!!
EXTERIOR: The car will be painted black with Boss 302 (black) pin striping head light buckets, hood, tail light panel will be flat black just like a 69 boss 302 would be... kinda of a black on black boss 302..
Yeah I like the new 302 but i'm finding it more of a headache trying to squeeze it in the car i hope someone here can guid me in the right direction!! cause the car goes back for finale body work and prep here in the next couple of weeks... and i kind of need to have a solid game plan by then...
Going to love the Coyote! I am putting one in my 55 ford right now too.
I would highly suggest that you contact Gus at Cleaveland Pick-a-part for the engine package! I did! It saved me tons of money and i have everything that you would need instead of piecing it together with the crate engine version.

Thank you 56pickup! I will be giving him a call! what kind of tranmission are you using...
Thats one wide motor. Check with Cris at JCG restorations. He's doing a '70 Coyote conversion, but he's using a DSE front clip. www.jgcrestorationsandcustoms.com
Cool project! I'll be following along. How much are you thinking of spending on the front suspension? There are a number of choices out there that will accommodate the Coyote 5.0.
Also, depending on how hard you're thinking of driving the car, a TKO might not be your best bet. Some complain that they don't shift well at high RPMs and the regular 5.0 redlines at 7K while the Boss 302 redlines around 7500.
