Hey, it was fun riding around with you. I can see you've definitely picked up a little bit of Mary's driving style, and that's not a bad thing. I think if you stiffened Payback up front and rear you'd get more out of the car. You looked like you had pogo sticks for coil overs in the front. When the nose went down into corners it would bounce up and down at least once. It was the weirdest thing to watch. Anyway, she really surprised me how well she hussled around that parking lot, you know for having a big block, and all (I kid, I kid - the car was flat out fast). Now that you too are renting a hired gun, I'm sure you'll soon have a car that Brian can drive fast too

Glad you were along for the ride on my best lap. The engine braking in my car will make the front end bite pretty hard just easing off the throttle a hair mid corner. Not sure if that's what you are talking about.

Having enough space is one of the big challenges. Having a residence with a large enough lot to put up a 40x60ish shop would be very convenient.

I really don't worry about it anymore. I throw some bath towels over the fenders and tape things up as needed. You have to remember that this car has almost 7k and 25 races or more on it's belt. It's got some scars from all the good times.

If you build the race /street car! You are very capable of doing it.. I paid more attention to the details on your 69 this weekend.. Your work speaks for itself.. Awesome work! Just don't let the compliment go your head..

Big compliment from you Cris.

It's been a blast noodling eachother over the last few months.

That's why I picked up that little lightweight cheap foxbody to beat on....lol. I would hate to see you sell Payback as it just does everything so well. But....I understand you thoughts of building a purpose built trackcar.

I've had two people walk up to me at events and say, "It's a shame to do this to that car". My response is, "It would be a shame not too". Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

That's great but where's the challenge? I can buy a new ZR1 and go fast. This deal is about talking the coolest cars in American history and turning them into capable modern cars.

Hard to believe a boy from Pierre, SD could grow up to be such a dreamer. I'll be ready.
