Thanks for sharing -- I was "living it" while reading. I love that track!

Sorry about the broken chain... that sucks. Hope it didn't bend any valves etc. No cam spinning around and pistons pumping up and down doesn't make a very good combination!

Hope it's just a chain and cover.

Thanks Todd, $150 plus another billet cover would be a blessing. I'm hoping I dont have any bent valves or marred piston tops.

Thanks Greg. Dropped the car off at Vinces this morning and I'll probably head down middle of the week to start the tear down.

Congratulations on making your goal on the track. Sounds like you were on your way to crushing it if the motor hadn't let go.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but don't be surprised to find some vale carnage. Expect the worse hope for the best.
