Default Noob in Minnesota...

New to the board, my name is Russ Murray. Several of you are on my facebook page so I decided to check out the forums! I work for Ravenworks/Porter Mufflers here in Maple Grove, MN and am currently looking for a 1970-73 Firebird shell for my next project.
Our company just finished a Turbo-Stang last summer, it puts out about 1,000hp and we are still debugging it...

Welcome Russ.

That Stang looks like quite the beast.

If you have a rendering, or decide to get one for your 'Bird project, definitely post it here.

Thanks for the welcome! I wouldn't know who could do a rendering, perhaps myself? I've had the picture in my head for years, I know exactly what I want to build!

Yes, I saw that! It's clean and would make a great starting point but to tear apart a fairly nice survivor just doesn't sit well with me, especially when the the only thing that will remain will be the shell, doors, glass, back seat frame and rear bumper. The $10k price tag didn't help either! lol

Found one and I'm hoping to hear back from the owner so I can check it out this week. This is exactly what I have been looking for and it's supposed to be a rust-free car from California...
Now I need to make room for it in the garage, a little tough with the 13" snow we just got dumped on us!

Man, I'd be all over that too if I had the garage space. That blue car was too nice of a survivor to tear apart, I agree. Regardless of what you do, be sure to make a build thread in the projects section. We love pictures

Oh, I'm sure I'll use plenty of bandwidth with pictures. I do a build-book on every car I work on in case a new owner wants the info.
In the mean time I wish the guy would call!
