Question 72 C10 Wiper Motor Upgrade

Well after a couple of drives in the truck, and it always seemed to rain, I'm looking at Wiper Motor upgrade with delay/intermittent included. The noise from motor is noticeable in cabin (is this normal?).

After a little googling there is some info that says that the wiper motor from a 67 Camaro is interchangeable. Is anyone able to confirm or deny.

This leads me to ask would the DSE Selecta-Speed for a 67 Camaro fit/work?

There are a couple of other solutions I found,
New Port Engineering, https://www.newportwipers.com/produc...7-72&make_id=2

and Brothers, http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=WPM6772

Has anyone used or has feedback on either? Any other solutions.

thanks Roger

I am interested too. I would like to see a better set up for the wipers on my truck to and adapt something better to my son's '82 model.

Long and short of it, the motors will interchange, but a new pitman arm will have to be made. I will have a dse motor here first of the week for some R&D here. I have DSE already looking into it.

We've installed several of the Specialty Power Window Wiper Universal kits in C-10's. Right now we're installing on in the Goodguys Giveaway C-10 that we're building. We're having a sale in the vendors marketplace, but look here for pics of the kit. Just throwing it out there as another option if you're interested.
