59 is collecting dust, still waiting on motor and trans

Finally accomplished something on the 57! As mentioned, I'm re-doing a few things I've already done once, or twice.

I first made the turbo system by modifying 2010 camaro cast steel manifolds, which I was happy with until the new ZL1's came out with cast stainless manifolds, so I had to rebuild them. Fixtured the first set so I didn't have to start from scratch as far as placement of the flanges. This thick stainless is not easy to work with but they are finally (roughly) finished.

Still need tons of sanding as I plan to have the manifolds/turbine housings/downpipes polished.

I love the manifolds man. I had no idea the ZL1's were stainless. Those things are gonna look killer all polished up.

What accessory drive do you have?

Thanks guys.

Rick, I know, but then I would have to pay for it which at the moment would be a problem.

The accessory drive is Wegners. Decided I needed a bigger compressor to run the dual A/C systems so they put this system together. 8-rib as well, very nice.

Like most everything else I've done, I decided to rebuild the floors that I boxed in around the frame.

The floors to either side of the frame were beat up a bit and also there wasn't much room for your foot on the outboard sides. Soooo, I cut it all out and started over.

The Baileigh brake and bead roller work awesome. The ancient band saw is kicking ass as well. Not sure how I survived without this stuff.

From the looks of the motor build , you might want to buy some stock in tire manufactures ... lol

Love it !!
