I wasn't even sure if these were still out there. This is my old (I mean old) web site. We put a Tremec in Dad's Nova probably 15 years ago. (It's a 3550, but should be the same size). It required some tunnel work to get it to fit. We left the 4-speed floor shape so that his carpet would still fit OK at the time.

It's weird that the thumbnail sized pics still show up but the links are broken....I can't even remember where I have that site hosted any more?

I put a TKO 600 in 67 Nova a few years ago. It was a LS swap. Had to cut and raise the tunnel quite a bit to get the driveline angles correct. The TKO is pretty square at the top. I put in new carpet and it fit alright.

Another pic. Had to cut the shifter tower hole a little bigger for clearance.

Wow that's a lot of cutting! I'm about to embark on my six speed conversion myself.

Here's a shot of a build that retains the factory shifter position.
