There units are hit with a signal once your car is reported stolen and the police get a signal as to the general area your car is in. My wife works for the PD and they recover stolen cars all the time. I think it's worth the piece of mind for the money and time invested in most of our cars.

Thats good info, never thought about the Law enforecment support (recipriation).....Do they recover stolen cars all the time "with Lojack"?

I had heard about that, do know if when they were wiring them, if they were 'powerring' the cell phones? I was told to do that when my TBSS was jacked, but wondered about battery life....
kill switches dont work when a flat bed is taking it...which somebody was telling me last week how their ride was stolen....
