normally the difference would be that the pro touring are 2 piece and the mesh are three piece, (ie) the bolts going around the outside of mine. however, when they widen them they can't make them in 3 piece, so the bolts are now just for looks. I actually wanted the bolts just for the looks anyway, I think it make's them look a lot better.
